ULTIMUS BUSINESS PROCESS MANAGEMENT (BPM) SUITE

What is BPM?

BPM stands for Business Process Management. BPM is the discipline of modelling, automating, managing, and then using the metrics from the automation mechanism, optimising business processes.

How will Process Automation speed up my business?

A successful BPM initiative, which includes the right mix of business leadership and technology, enables significant reduction in cycle times – sometimes as much as 90% – and costs. This is particularly true for processes that cross departments, applications and users. From a technology perspective, an independent BPM system can easily integrate with existing applications – such as CRM, ERP, and ECM – without requiring a wholesale system redesign.

How does BPM improve the quality?

Beyond the time and cost benefits, organisations that have implemented BPM have also realised several other key benefits.
1.  The loss or misfiling of forms and documents, occasions of key information being omitted or required reviews not occurring, are dramatically reduced or eliminated.

2.   Visibility of process activity is dramatically improved.  All process participants are empowered to understand not only their role in the process, but exactly how work flows and the status of each process at any time.

3.  With visibility comes true accountability, with complete and open knowledge of what is due when. Excuses related to delays, misunderstandings, or simple oversights go away.

4.  Consistency improves, providing internal and external parties with a clear set of expectations.  The end result is increased employee, customer and partner satisfaction and loyalty.

Ultimus BPM Suite

The Ultimus BPM Suite is a complete, enterprise software application designed to create an operational environment that empowers people in the organisation to drive process automation and improvement.

The product is made up of multiple modules, seamlessly integrated together and is designed to support the needs of all BPM stakeholders in the company including management, work teams, IT teams, and business analysts. Modelling, analysis, and optimization capabilities are deployed in easy-to-use graphical interfaces for business analysts.

Reporting and Business Activity Monitoring (BAM) are tailored to management and presented through performance dashboards, email, desktop gauges or within process forms. Work teams gain convenient access to workflow and forms through email, portals, or collaborative clients.

IT teams collaborate on the design, development, and administration of BPM through modules that accelerate deployment through the use of graphical interfaces, while also providing for sophisticated custom development when necessary.

The Ultimus V8 architecture is scalable, extensible, and secure and is 100% SOA-based, meaning all interactions with Ultimus clients and third-party applications are through XML, SOAP, and WSDL. The execution engine has dynamic multi-threading; the product is fully Unicode compliant and is localized into 16 languages. Ultimus is deployed on Microsoft Servers.
